I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

If you've seen my status it says - "Sitting on the fence, not sure which yard I belong in". This is how I am feeling right now. Caught between hope and reality and not exactly sure where I'm headed anymore.

I've written a journal explaining how I got here if you care to read it.

Chrissy: Try not to get your hopes up. People talked to my stbx early on and he just lied and twisted everything. Our priest went out with him twice and he blamed me for everything but stbx never went out with him again once the OW came to light. My stbx cried to me in front of the priest saying how sorry he was for the way he handled everything. I sat there so unmoved because I knew it was bull and all an act for the priest. 48 hours later I found out about the OW. I read the emails about them planning the hotel get away together sounding as happy as a clam right before he was crying (I should say acting).

I don't think anything is going to go the way you hope. He's in another world right now and he's going to work through it in his own way.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't want to see you get hurt again.
