Well, when it rains it pours. I wrote recently about how I was painfully beginning to accept the reality that my husband is truly walking out of my life but there was a sense of positiveness as well. On Saturday my daughter who is a competing gymnast re-injured an ankle injury at practice. It is not broken and they splinted it and gave her some crutches but it could possibly be the end of her gymnastics career. Weird saying that since she's only 11, but that's the way it is. Then on Monday my 7 year old son had a severe asthma attack and has been hospitalized since. It was rough going for a while and they had a hard time getting it under control but he finally started to show some improvement today. They were even able to wean him off his oxygen today. I'm hoping he will be able to come home in the next couple of days but I sure would appreciate some positive energy for him. Poor thing has to be woken up every hour for breathing treatments and hasn't had uninterrupted sleep in days. They finally let him get out of bed and walk a little today and he did well. Still huffing and puffing a lot but they say that may last awhile. He's had many emergency room visits with other severe attacks but this one was one of the worst. So my week has been spent at the hospital with him. My loser husband actually stays the nights with him while I do the days. My mom has come to watch the baby so things have been okay so far. When we swap out, my h and I just give a very brief description of the day and the plan and that's it. We don't really talk at all.

Lawyer called me on Monday to tell me to expect to be served any day now. Great timing! I just hope some-one doesn't get stupid and try to serve me at the hospital with my son! That would be awful... for me, my son and definitely for the person trying to serve me!

On top of all this, I am coming down with something. Sore throat, headache, sinus pain.... boy, I tell ya. If God is testing me, he's making damn sure I don't pass easily.
