Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group

I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

OK, I know this is OT (I know the abbreviation now!) but I got stuck in Atlanta for 6 hours. I was suppose to be there for 1 1/2 hours. Sooo I went catch up on DS and you have to pay for Wifi. Now I'm pretty patient usually but if you are stuck for that long, the least they can do is offer Wifi. They would have much happier passengers. Oh yeah, I forgot, the poor airline employees are the ones that have to take the abuse, not the people who make such decisions.

I learned something new though. You can get a service on your smart phone that provides a hotspot. I guess it costs about $20 a month but I can see where that would be helpful.

Yeah charging for the service kind of sucks, but with the air travel industry as hungry as everyone else, it doesn't surprise me.
One GOOD THING about being stuck in Atlanta would be the ROCKING CHAIRS! Did you find them? Did you sit in them? I think it's the coolest thing!

I've been thru Atlanta and didn't know about the rocking chairs. But them I'm usually hurrying to catch my next connection.

I thought internet in the airports was free. They must be trying to make up for fuel costs. They are looking for anything they can charge for.

Well, they USED TO HAVE the rocking chairs along the main concourses and I know they were near the Southwest terminal because I SAT THERE! Hmmmm....but that was maybe 10, 15 years ago. I would hate to think they did away with them. It really was charming!

I have a "personal WiFi" thingy from Verizon so I can hook up anywhere anytime. But I don't know if that would work with your smart phone, although it ought to....just a thought.

Yes I believe it does work the same for iPhone. I guess you get a personal hotspot.

I gave the BF an Ipad last spring as a gift, and he has mobile hotspot with his phone that he enables him to use the Ipad or anything else,, like his business laptop, where there is no Wifi. He travels for his job frequently, and can suspend it if he is not flying out as much.

I traveled a lot at one time, and sometimes if you sit near a business lounge or airline club for business, you can pick up Wifi for "free"!
