Vent all you want... I will add mine here. I just spent part of the afternoon trying to get the riding lawnmower started. I waited too long and now the battery is dead, I need to move it to the house garage as the neighbor floods part of the woods and my garage and I can not have the anxiety of that anymore, wading in there to try and push it out in the spring. Another long story, but when I get my legal bills paid I am going after them and my town who are too chicken to inforce an ordinance that you can not discharge a sump pump on to anothers property! I remembered I now own a battery charger so I figured out how to hook that up and hopefully before morning and the blizzard that is coming it will start. The push will not start and I have no idea why. I was going to run the gas out of it and put that conditioner in. It might be the spark plug.. who knows. That can wait. I have to go out and finish cleaning the garage. It is a huge mess. I have 200 ft of hose off the reel in the yard and 200 on and I swear I am going to cut if off. IT is stuck. We are getting 2 to 6 inches of snow. I pushed the giant snowblower to the house garage and that doesn't start either as my neighbors took care of me last year. I need to read the booklet for the snowb. Good news it is only a few years old.

I got a letter from his attorney that because I did not get his name off the mortgage or refi by Oct 9 he is going to file contempt charges againist me and I have a court date of Jan 29th with a commisioner. We responded a few weeks ago, like Nov 12 that I need 30 to 60 more days. THAT F--king jerk. Sorry I feel like swearing. My attorney called him an anal ass and said usually they let this go or the other attorney just calls. Sorry... I have not got all the settlement investment money so I can show I have assets and qualify to either take him off or refi. I was divorced April 9 and if his fortune 500 company send me one more copy of my court order division of his pension I am going to scream. GIVE me the money. I am a bit worried, and these letters always come on Friday so you can worry during the weekend. I have only talked to the ex once on the phone and have not seen him since the divorce April 08. I do not want to see him in court. He is so righteous. Worst economic times in like forever and he can not give me some leeway.. NOPE

I still have not found a job, and last week I had the stress of the insurance Cobra cancelling me. I am running out of money. I had to come up with an extra payment of 543.00 to pay ahead a month to reinstated.

So I vent, and I am not feeling sorry for myself, my point is that no matter where you are in the process, it is continual. I am glad I have the house, lets hope with no job, and lots of equity and new credit issues they will let me refi or better yet remove him. I hope if I get this done that the Jan 29th date will just cancel. I can not afford to ring up anymore legal bills, my fab lawyer, has not charged me a dime since April, he gave me a really low rate, and did not charge me for a lot of stuff. I owe him yet, have not paid him a thing since last fall when I hired him.. So good with the bad.

I did get my ice tires on this afternoon, my older friend did it at his son-in-laws. I am grateful for that. I just realized I better go and get new gas for the snowblower.

Vent away! I wish you could have asked someone else to help you out. It's crappy how he throws things back at you because your car needs fixing. Its not like you are sitting around thinking up ideas on how to dump more crap in your lap! Shit happens.

So sorry for you today (yesterday?) but so proud of you the day before. So it's 15 steps forward and one back which is still an improvement. I have been having a run of bad luck myself, it seems. My house was broken into a week ago - DAUGHTER WAS HOME AT THE TIME - she was upstairs and heard the window break, ran and locked herself in her room and called 911 (she is my hero!) she thinks they heard her on the phone with 911 when they tried the door to her room. Cops got there in about 10 minutes, just missed the thieves. They took daughters car keys off of the kitchen counter and drove off in her car! They also took my laptop, a Playstation 3 and ALL of my jewelry. They can have all of that crap - someone less fortunate may have a better Christmas now - but daughter is OK which is the most important thing!

The next night the cops called daughter to tell her they got her car back and we think that they caught the kids, too (Grand Theft Auto, for God's sake!). She had to call the asshole to take her to get her car, because it's in his name - I wonder if they will have to go to court, but of course I can't know anything (I'm the one who ran home from work to give her a big hug and be here while cops did everything, but asshole is given credit for actually "caring" about her well-being) does everything have to be about him?

I was planning to stay in this house through the foreclosure so as to save more money, but I think this is a big sign from God that I need to get us out of here! Of course, its totally random, and it was stupid kids - could happen in any neighborhood but still I take it as a sign.

By the way the divorce decree was recorded the same day as the break-in ! One thing that was stolen was my three-stone diamond ring that I had only just started wearing again, though not on that particular day! Also a small heart necklace that I bought for myself (symbolizing my love for myself - cuz I'm nuts) that is the one day I did not wear that either. Am I the only one who sees the irony(?) in these so-called coincidences? I don't know what it all represents to my daughter - she was the real victim, of course, but for me it all seems to point to getting rid of him and stuff associated with him and this divorce!

Sorry Chrissy, I've dealt with a blown head gasket and if your stbx knows anything about it he knows $200 is shit. Some repair places offer a free rental car while your car is getting repaired and maybe they would let you make payments. I know because I may have to go that route. My car is starting to have transmission problems and Ihave had to call a couple places. It does suck that you had to call him after Fri. I can't believe he treated you like that. (Then again I can) Hope it works out. Hugs to you.
