Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
The Beach Mayhem 2009 may be canceled, moved to another location and time due to lack of interest.... Monkey BOy has said that he will not be able ot attend therefore it may not go off as planned.....SSOOOOOO should we start the planning for the Lunacy on the Lake....for late Septermer.......

Monkey BOy has mentioned that the interest for the August Meetup in Myrtle Beach (Beach Mayhem 2009) is waning and most likely be canceled or moved to a later date and another location. Hurting and healing (Running Mouse) and I have kicked around the idea of having something on Lake Erie in late September.....I had asked some of the Chicago peops if they would like to join forces and make it an end of summer and jump into fall bash....the response was positive....SOOOOO what do you all think....I am fairly sure that we will do something...but I say the more the merrier...... can we get the East and West Coast peops to come join us .... I surely hope so.....

Yes I am in! Let me know what I can do from this end. I think it is great for all that wants to come and encourage anyone to come. I would be glad to get I room with you Katie or anyone to keep costs down. I went to the one in Cleveland last Nov. and it was a super time getting to put face and getting to know the person with the story and soul we have been supporting on here. I am 8 hours from there but I say that it was one of the best mini vacations I've ever had. I also came home with laughter and so much stronger with the confidence of who I am and what I want. Plus there was not one person I did not connect with. Just the opposite I met and loved all and hope to remain friends with the rest of my life. I told my son it was a support group but the laughter, crying, good food and drinks. A few of us also went to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which I enjoyed. I can't wait til the next one and plan to be there the entire event since I missed Friday evening and the opportunity to get to know a few that only came in and out on Fri. and Sat. I missed getting to know better. I can't wait. Thanks for the info Pemdcat.
