I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

Okay, just for giggles...

What's your most embarrassing moment ???

Mine: Shortly after I got married, my h and I were at a store shopping for something and as we were walking down the aisle of the store, I saw something I thought we should by so I walked up behind my h, reached around his waist, put my hands in the front pocket of his jeans, leaned into him with my body, the side of my face on his back and said, "Babe, I think we should get this." Now, it happened really fast and even as it was happening and I was saying the words to him, something in my brain was telling me that something just wasn't right. But I was already fully committed by then with my hands in his pockets! Sure enough he turns around and it was a complete stranger!!! My h had walked off and I was standing next to this guy who was standing next to HIS WIFE!!!! Thank God she was nice and understanding and not a jealous person (although who knows what happened when they got home) but she didn't kick my butt. I apologized profusely, got away as fast as I could, punched my h and told him what happened, we laughed about it finished our shopping and went up to the one register in the store to pay. Guess who was in the line right in front of us !?!

I woke up one morning, about a year after we were married, and my husband wasn't in the bed. Wandered downstairs for coffee and saw him, back to me, on the couch asleep, snuggled under a quilt. So I went up to the couch and reached under the covers and began fondling not only his belly and shoulders, but his private parts as well. Unfortunately, the man under the covers was a friend of my husbands with roughly the same build, and the same red hair.

What makes it worse, is that he started enjoying it and saying things to keep it going. I was mortified, but my husband and his friend thought it was great.

My ex and moved to California after we met and we were both pretty young and one day we were in a drug store browsing around, he saw this tube that label "last longer". We both thought, what the heck let try this. Well when we brought it up to the counter, the ex went ahead and stand at the end of the pay counter left me to pay for the item. WELL, the clerk couldn't find the price for the item, she proceed to announced it on the intercom for a price check "need price check on the tube of love longer", everyone that was in line behind me give me this look. I wish I could have dug a hole and crawl in there, my ex however, thought it was too funny and laugh his head off.

My stbx were in a large hotel in Utah in the late 70's. The pool area was deserted and we started fooling around. Noone could see us as it appeared this dark wall hid everything. The next morning we went down to breakfast in the restaurant. The thing we thought was a dark wall was a huge window that over looked the pool. We put on quite a show for the entire restaurant.

My most embarrassing moment came about 2 months into our marriage. The ife and I travelled a lot and thought we might like to get a small dog. Being the "smart" one in the relationship, I told her I would go to the local book store and get a book about dogs so that we could study up on the topic and make a decision. Found a great book, can't remember the name now, and began walking to the register. As I walked down a particular aisle, another book caught my eye. Remember, we were newly weds. Imagine the look on the clerks face when I went to pay for the dog book along with the book "The Joy of Sex".

These are too hilarious! I have another one. It actually happened to my husband but I was standing next to him and I felt like it reflected on me as well, although when it happened I couldn't stop laughing!!!

Remember when McDonald's had that sandwich out called the 'Big and Tasty Burger'? Well, one day we went to the McD's and when we went to order my husband said, "Yeah, I'll have the Big and Nasty!"

The guy behind the counter didn't know what to say, but I was laughing so hard I couldn't even order!

Ok I can't think of one that happened to me, but this happened to my husband. We were over our best man's house visiting and my husband had known him and his wife since high school so they were great friends. Whenever my husband kissed me (at the time) he would always stick a little tongue action in (just a little). Well, you guessed it, that night after a few too many cocktaisl, we were saying our goodbyes to this couple and when my husband kissed Laura goodbye he accidently gave her a little tongue action. It was so funny and he was so embarrassed.
