Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group

I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

My sister is going in tomorrow for a double mastectomy. She had breast cancer a year ago October and the doctor recommends she have this done to prevent it from returning; which he is certain it will.

Just a few prayers for a successful operation and a speedy recovery. There is strength in numbers and God will hear us.

My prayers are with you, your sister and her family. My mom had a mastectomy a few years ago, and won't talk about it. Your sister is a survivor....

Oh Chrissy, Your sister will definately be in my prayers. Thank God, she has a strong sister like you in her life. I can't even imagine what she must be going through leading up to the surgery. I truly believe in prayers so I'm sure your sister's operation and recovery will go well.

Oh Chrissy I will be praying for her and your family during this time . I pray for a speedy recovery and and that this will be the end of all of it for her. May God bless her and keep her safe. Please keep us up dated as to her recovery. Love ya girl call me if you need to talk .

Oh absolutely. My sister survived breast cancer - supposedly a hopeless case - she is 7 years out. I wish the same for your sister. And everyone - if anyone in your family has had breast cancer, please refrain from eating soy products - they are not sure,but think it might not be good - especially if the cancer was an estrogen receptive cancer as my sister's was. Wish you sister a speedy recovery for me.

I send out positives to you and your family. My sister had breast cancer that metastasized into her lymph system, but nearly 12 years later she's still with us. Positive thinking seems to help as much as the medical proceedures.
