so to anyone who saw my earlier post (need to chat) here is an update. after 3 weeks of chaos after losing my lawyer, I am proof that yes the Lord hears prayers. I talked to my pastor today. I didn't call him, I had called the church on renting the hall and he asked to speak to me. He knows about the divorce and was concerned on how I was doing. so anyway, after i gave him a digested version of the last year+ he said and I quote "God will take care of you" . after I hung up, I decided to give my x atty another call. and this time i caught him on the phone. he had been playing phone tag with another colleague and now I have another attorney! Praises!!. This one is a woman and she believes in my case and is going to meet with me on thursday. We will meet with the old atty to go over strategy plans. He will coach her on my stbx and how to get him to hang himself as only he can do. He will get ticked off and rattle his mouth and then hopefully it will be all over. so i would be grateful for continuing prayers. I did ask my pastor how the Lord could let someone as low and nasty as my stbx to seem to be winning. as he said, It may look like that in this life but guaranteed he won't win in the next. we all know where he is heading. but if you are lost, as I have been many many times lately and if you still hurt as I still do (although the pastor again says I hurt for my sons and not because of stbx) and it feels like it all is for naught then pray. It may not seem like he hears you but he does. He just will fix what needs fixing in his time. Not in ours. We must be patient. and if you are like me that alone is asking for a lot. but bless you all. (if totally confused read my journal entry for today. it explains a lot)
