Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
DANCE as though no one is watching you
LOVE as though you have never been hurt
SING as though no one can hear you
LIVE as though heaven is on earth.
It doesn't take much to make me smile.
I smile through the email jokes people send me.
I love the sound of anyone laughing.
A hug.
Hearing about something good happening.
I have to think about this a little more.
when a friend sends me a friendship card for the heck of it - no reason
Phone calls from my friends
When my son calls just because he was thinking of me
sitting at the ocean and listening to the waves
anytime I hear water - fountains, rain, waves, waterfalls
sunshine makes me smile
When my rose bushes bloom
When I can do things for my kids or grandkids
Wow, this list would be endless. So many things make me smile. But this is a good start! Great post pemdcat
Hearing music that speaks to me...down deep to my soul...happy or sad.
Unconditional love given to my family (and received).
The giggle of a baby...a toddler...THAT sends me over the moon!
Thank you for this :)
Getting real mail from a friend.
Surprising my son with an unexpected goodie
Seeing my cat having fun
Watching a toddler make a get-away from his mother
And last Valentine's Day it made me smile every time an elderly man bought a valentine for his wife
Watching people reading the gossip magazines in the grocery store - but never buying one. (ME!)
Giggles and babies
A beautiful star lit sky
A rainbow
Beautiful bride
An older (much older) couple walking and holding hands.
Spring flowers bursting through the snow
Sun shining on the trees after an ice storm
Someone with happy tears
And, on and on. Thanks for posting this Jack - it was fun.
Looking at/smelling beautiful flowers
babies and children laughing
being on vacation
The ocean
Watching someone accomplish a difficult task
