Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
Today when I got the mail, amonst the many bills, were to envelopes that contained cards. I wondered as I walked into the house who would be sending me cards and for what reason. It's not my birthday or any other special day so why are they here.
As I opened up the first one and read the card it said....Believe in God, Believe in Life, Believe in yourself and your Future, Celebrating the Blessing of You....and there was a $75 gift card in there for a local supermarket. It was signed.... A Friend in Christ. I just started crying.
Then I opened the second card and it said.....It can happen any moment, it can happen anywhere- We don't know it, but somebody is remembering us in prayer. It came with the prayer card: 1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. In this card was a $200 money order. I just started crying harder.
Neither of these cards were signed. I do not know who they are from. I am completely overwhelmed by the generosity of the people in my life.
I am completely overwhelmed by the helping hand of God in my life.
I just wanted to share this with you and tell you to also just Believe.

Wow! That's fantastic! Yes, God sends those little gifts all the time. This summer I would be feeling down and blue and when I would go to the mailbox, there would be card from a friend wishing me well.
