Who does that? My ex-husband is taking me back to court to modify child support. My son turned 21 in July and he called me today to let me know I would be receiving papers in the next couple of days. My birthday is this Friday! He said all I would need to do is make a copy of my paycheck stubs and it would be very easy. No hassle! Only 15 minutes he said. Are you kidding me? My children between them had 6,000 in their college fund. He was court ordered to not touch it and turn it over to my kids. Back when the divorce was finalized he took the money out of their accounts and used it on his lawyer. His mentality was he put the money in there he can take it out. I was a stay at home mom and since I didn't "contribute", that was his money! It was in our kids social security numbers with their name on it. I have paid for my son's college education including books. He continues to live at home. He was also court ordered to pay half of all medical bills which he has not done. He told me he paid the bills for 20 years and once again since I didn't "contribute" I could pay them. Needless to say! I will be contacting my lawyer tomorrow. This is a man who kicked me and my kids out of "his" house telling me to get the f*** out of "his" house after I found out he had an 8 year affair with his cousin's wife. He kicked me on my leg where it took me over a month to heal from the bruises (no charges) when I confronted him on it. He is as low as a snake's belly! Hoping the lawyer will see me through this! Really hating right now! UGH!
