I've been reading quite a bit and it has helped.. I'm actually learning some things about myself.. some good... some a little painful and embarrassing. But I know in the long run it's good to face those things I need to change and learn from them. The only mistakes we make are the ones we don't learn from...
Wouldn't it be nice if we could plan our emotions, wrap them up in a nice neat little package and file them away - only to be taken out and examined when we are strong enough. But realistically it doesn't happen that way. Unfortunately, those downward dips hit us at the worst possible time.
I hope one day very soon I can find that person I was before.. the one who knew who she was..the one she was before her life fell apart.. I liked that person..problem is... it took a lot of years for things to get bad.. so figuring out at what point in time that happened is a challenge. I know I will get there though and I know I will come out even stronger than I was...

You are absolutely correct -- our only real mistakes are the ones that we don't learn from. You have learned a lot about yourself, relationships and life. Now take what you have learned and carve out a brand new life for yourself! Look at this change as an OPPORTUNITY that so many never get!
