Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

For me I think the final stage was not being angry anymore, not caring at all.
Good luck to you.
I just sent you an article called "What Forgiveness Is Not" via private message. This piece was truly an eye-opener for me when I was still caught in the throes of divorce more than 7 years ago. Hope it's of help to you. Big hugs xoxo
I feel pretty confident that I'm past the anger stage. (That'll change if he wins an alimony judgement for me to pay him) I've accepted my situation and firmly believe I am doing the right thing no matter how scary it is. There's still sorrow and sadness in my heart but I really wondered if the days when I think of him and feel sorry for him; for the mess he's made of his life, etc, I wondered if I was beginning to forgive him.
