Apparently NONE of the DS links seem to be functional today. I tried to send a private message to atpeacemary, and it won't let me do that, either!
Yes, Marco Island, Naples and Bonita Springs got hammered when Irma came ashore. At the time of this writing, power is still out in a lot of areas and there is a "boil order" on all tap water before drinking. I am SOOO glad I wasn't there and just as glad that I hadn't planned on going back there for the winter.

I've had problems posting a new journal too. The last one it took several tries. For some reason my phone will connect and my computer won't. I hate writing a journal from my phone

They have ruined a good thing. I post but it is not the same as before. Very few people reply. I wish they would have left it alone. And the friends list is still a jumbled up mess.

Thanks to the DS technical support people, I just was able to publish a new journal. The key: DELETE YOUR COOKIES if you can't get to the new journal entry page! Ta Da!

Yes, I reminded them of all that when I was making contact about the journal entry problem. dailystrength.org is probably a non-profit and maybe they are relying on donated services for maintaining the website. Hard to say. I know there is so much less activity here than before they changed the format. Too bad because there are so many people in need everywhere!
