Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
Good luck to us both.

I feel your pain. I recently had to find a lawyer to represent me and just picking names out of a list was hard because I didn't know them or have a referral. I did end up with someone a lawyer I consulted with referred me too and so far so good. This is not for the divorce though. Keep digging and calling
Good luck in your search!

Mine was a referral, and I'm still skeptical as to whether he did a good job or not...I just don't know! I think one would have to know how the local courts / judges 'lean' as it were, and there are soooo many variables in every case.
Just as no two persons are alike, no two marriages are alike. And divorce? Well, you get the drift here! Keep the faith and keep trying, odds are in your favour that you'll find the right fit soon. Hope your 'vent' helped!
:))))HUGS!!!
Do some research on the divorce laws in your state so that you can be clear and concise when consulting with these "possibles" and be brief and to the point once you retain someone to represent you.
www.divorcesource.com is a great place to start.
Good legal representation is not cheap, but with so many things, you only get what you pay for!
Take your time and look 'em over real good before settling on one.
