Haha. I can see the happy dance!! This is an acapella group. They perform Church songs and contemporary stuff also. They do recordings so I am sure I can post some things to YouTube. They won't be together until the first week of June.

I work in a recording studio and this sort of thing really makes me smile!
Acapella is truly cool and through some gospel in there and it is beyond great! As a matter of fact i'm going to a concert Sat night that will be mostly acapella gospel music :-)

And really is there anything better than gospel songs acapella! (you cant tell i love it can you)

I love Acapella. We are Church of Christ members so it is very big in our circles and OVU is associated with the Churches of Christ. Actually, there is a little known fact that a huge number of country singers are members of our Church because they grew up with no instruments. Ronnie Dunn (from Brooks and Dunn) was a psychology major at Abilene Christian (another one of our schools) and was trying to make it in singing by singing at the bars at night. Well, ACU couldn't allow him to do that and so the Dean called him in and made him choose between the bars or school. The rest is history. You know what he chose. Luckily that didn't preclude him from keeping his spiritual values Lol.

All my friends here go to Church of Christ Church's here, there are a lot of the Church of Christ denomination in the town i live closest to.

Well, if you love Acapella, it's a great place to be! Growing up, singing without instruments, really trains your ear and your voice and I have to say that I love the simplicity of it. The fact that we can get 4 people together and sound like a choir always seems to reinforce the beauty of God's creation for me!!!
