Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group

I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

And I'm still here but in an OHHHH SSSSsOOOOOOOOOOo much better place. I joined DS at the urging of my daughter and thank God.......Still here but trying to give instead of take..........

Wow - what a ride too, huh! I, for one, am so blessed to have met you here, talked with you on the tele and in person! I can't tell you enough, how wonderful you have been to me and so many others here through the messes we've all been in. You certainly have given back and continue to do so - without avail. Jack - where would many of us be without your gentle soul to guide us and support us. I for one count you as one of my closest friends, even though we don't get to chat as much as we used to. I will never forget the compassionate man with a big heart and how he helped me in so many ways when I was a broken soul.

I feel blessed to have met you and you give a lot of us women here hope that we will find a man such as yourself.

Thanks for all the giving of your words of wisdom and hugs. Keep em comin', we're not done yet. :)

Dearest sweet Jack - We are so thankful to have you here. You do so much for us by always giving us your support. You were one of the first and perhaps the only one that still contributes to the group now. We are grateful. You are such a light to bring us music, start groups to get together, and always our # 1 cheerleader.
You were hurt and stifled in your marriage. We are so glad to see you come from that and such a giving force to us now. You are a man's man but yet your understanding and your willingness to open up is helpful and touches our hearts. You deserve nothing but happiness and that is my pray for you. Big Hugs/Much Love
