I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

I have been reading the posts and alot or most of the exs have left for a younger women mine left for a 25 year old hes 38.Id like to ask these girls cos there not women why.Why would u want to take someone that doesnt belong to u,she has a child so surly she must of none what it would do to his kids maybe she didnt give a dame about me well i no she didnt otherwise she wouldnt have done it.All that hurt my kids have gone through and still going through,why not just leave alone and find someone else thats not got baggage,did she really think i was gonna give up my home for her and her daughter to live in, or the life style we had b4 did she think thats what she was gonna get,ill tell u what she got,a middle aged man who now thinks hes a teenager cos every other word he says is "coolman" still living in her shitty council flat che now has no money cos he still has to pay all my bills and the mortgage,hes still comin here 4/5 times a week,so if anyone can tell me why id be pleases to no

The answer in my opinion is she's white trash! A married man that would cheat on his wife now has a woman that will have an affair with a married man. They deserve eachother.

The answer is: "There are no answers". It just happens and it's such a shame. To ruin an entire family for a short time of selfish behavior is ignorance. Do you really think that your stbx and this 25 year old single mother are going to last? I don't. Just give it time. He may have made a trade now, but eventually it all comes down to "real" living. When that happens (and it will) it's not going to bed at night that's important, it's who you wake up in the morning with that really matters. He may have a different "girl", but I assure you he will also have different sh..t - too. Hope he can handle it. LOL

Our spouses have "morphed" into selfish dirty people and are attracted to selfish dirty people. That way they dont have to live up to anyones expectations because they are with the lowest of the low...that makes them feel superior.
Your husbands bimbo serves one purpose and that purpose cannot sustain a relationship for long. I am so sorry for the pain it causes you..it is not fair and i feel it everyday..my dr actually wrote out a prescription for me that says "that feeling of extreme sadness WILL end someday"

I wish my husband picked a 25 yr old bimbo, but I'm afraid he's "friends" with someone more mature, professional and most likely pretty and shapely. I have a feeling if he let her into his life, she's probably permanent. He doesn't make these kind of decisions on a whim.

What I can't get over is how he sat across from her, while we were married, and had intimate conversations with BOTH OF THEM knowing that he has a wife and family at home. What could they possibly be thinking about that. How can anyone do that? That just blows my mind.

Sue you will never have the answers because we don't think like they do - neither like him or like her - we would NEVER risk our families happiness for our own selfishness like they have. They just don't care about anyone but themselves. We will never relate because we will never be like them - thank God for that at least.
