Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...
Ive managed to get through my divorce,the pain is still there but u learn to cope with it,now im at a stage where i want to meet other women like me that have gone through the feelings ive gone throught and still going through.I have friends but there all married and even tho there there for me i dont think its the same as talkig to someone who nos ayway what i really want is if anyone has any ideas,ive been on the net and as of yet not found nothing.Anyone from the uk thats found anything would be really good.Or anyone with any advise would be nice.
If you don't find one why don't you start your own? I'm sure there are many other women in your situation who would like to develop a new network of friends. Good Luck.
I was very nervous to begin with, but made at least 1 great friend and felt mutually supportive of the others.
Parents without Partners is a good idea too.
