Christmas was fine. Really enjoyed having my nephew (young gay man) here for a visit with his father and with me.

I have no idea where the disabled lesbians are. I know we're out there. but it is sure hard to make connections. A good friend of mine is head over heels in love and just got engaged. I'm thrilled for her. She's a few years younger and is healthy. I'm just glad I don't feel any envy or that the fact that she is blissed out is not making me sad. In younger days I couldn't bear to be single. Things change! But I certainly never expected a wheelchair ruling my life.

My Christmas turned out nice afterall. I sang with some ppl. and played the piano. Music is my life.
I believe music soothes the soul. Btw I am new here and glad I found this group. Being disabled makes it harder to not be lonely. Jo, I wish I knew how to connect on facebook. The only way I know is to "friend" ppl. on facebook.

Hello everyone. Wow, I did not realize how long it had been since I was on this board ((sorry)). The last couple years were very challenging and changing for me. I have been in a new relationship for over a year now. Lost my house shortly after the ex who begged me to morgage it left me. I am still recovering from that relationship and its been over three years. It's never taken me this long but it was a very abusive relationship. I did fianally cut all contact and thats when the healing starts. How is everyone? I am not doing my best but things could be worst so I will be thankful for that.
