I am in Rhode Island...I applied in March of this year.
I was told (by my lawyer) being sent to the state evaluator is usually a last step to close the process and to decide approval or not approval.
My sister has been on SSI for about 20 years....she has NEVER been evaluated. Have you been evaluated in 12 years? I ask because I am going thru so much with just getting approved....I'm wondering if after I get approved...if they will evaluate me...every 3 or 7 years....I read that they do evaluations...but I don't know if they do them for everyone?
I dont' like waiting for the first approval..very nerve wracking.
