preheat the oven to 350.
1 1/2 cups almond flour (expensive, but worth it)
5 tablespoons of psyllium husk powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt (I am going to use less next time)
2 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 egg whites
7/8 cup of boiling water.
mix all dry together, add egg and vinegar and mix well
add boiling water and mix until it makes a wet dough....
spray a baking sheet with pam
roll into 4 or 6 rolls (I will do 4 next time)
bake for 55 minutes.
cool completely...tastes better cooled.
my husband really liked the texture. total carb count is 60 (so 4 is 15, 6 rolls is 10)
and there are air bubbles inside like real bread.
made them today for the first time. tomorrow we try toasting them for with his morning eggs.
