Developing a Positive Attitude DAPA Community Group
Hi, This group is dedicated to helping people develop a positive attitude. It is for all depression sufferers, anybody who suffers from anxiety or stress, has suffered bad experiences in the past, or anyone who desires to develop a more positive attitude through positive thinking.
1. Give up the idea that you can control the world around you particularly other people. Just make a decision to surrender and just let it go. I am not saying do not make your best efforts but you must realise there is only so much you can do to improve a situation. You need to let go.
2. Realise that the only thing you really have control over is yourself and your reactions. Dedicate your life to always viewing those around you in a loving forgiving way and realise the good things you have in your life. At the same time do not permit others to push you around and make your feel bad.
3. Treat yourself with respect always and do little things to make yourself feel good, spoil yourself a little if you like.
4. Always be honest about your feelings and let others know how you feel but do not impose the responsibility for your feelings on others in either words or actions but particularly in your own mind because giving others responsibility for your feelings in your mind relinquishes your personal power.
5. Have complete faith in your abilities and feel that your efforts will berig rewards over time even though you often might feel that nothing is moving forward. And never allow yourself to become frustrated at yourself if you are never angry or frustrated you will never feel stress.
6. Finally be patient in this world things often take a long time to happen and just when you least expect it you get your breaks.
I hope this helps.
