Hawk in a Tree

Hawk is my friend,
and I to her just a passing acquaintance,
maybe.

Every day, when I go to town,
Hawk is on top of the highest tree, waiting for me.
Or lunch.

I think I what to be Hawk's friend more than she.
Maybe because she is so high
and I am so low.

Anyway, Hawk is my friend.
