Dementia and the parents Community Group
My dad has dementia. I need support helping my mother with his up and down personality.

Am new to this group. My mother was diagnosed with dementia a few months ago but it was a late diagnosis. Am completely struggling to know how to deal with her and how to support my brother who lives near and is struggling to cope at times. I would appreciate a private message or a response here if anyone is willing to share experiences. Many thanks to all.

Hello - I am new to this group as well and see there isn't or hasn't been much traffic on here. My mother was diagnosed in February after not recovering from stent surgery. Did you ever get anyone else to respond to you? kathy

Hello both - thanks for getting in touch - sorry I didn't reply sooner. I used this site a long time ago and always got notifications when someone replied. But not this time so I assumed there was no activity. Hmm...very quiet page. Happy to send/receive messages/continue here but if you do find a more active page, please let me know.
