It has been a little over 10 months since my grandma passed away. She was my best friend. I was the oldest grandchild and we were very close. I stayed with her a lot growing up until I was sixteen when she moved to Arizona. Then I called her at least once a week and talked for at least an hour from the time I was sixteen up until the time she passed. She came to visit once a year and stayed at my house usually for a month or so. My family and I went there every couple of years to visit. She was the person I called for everything. I still find myself wanting to call her. I sill cry almost every day. I do not understand why people think I should be over this already. I had an aunt who said and I quote " I have no doubt that losing your grandma was hard but I think you are just holding onto this a little too long" I mean WTF. Who says that? This was her sister! Then my soon to be ex, that I still live with due to a few unavoidable reasons for now, came into my room the other day when I was writing a post about her and I was crying and he asked what was wrong, not nicely mind you, it was more like a Whats wrong with you kind of thing, any way when I told him I was missing my gma he said "is that all you ever think about?" I mean seriously, like he still is trying to want to make the marriage work, which I am way past doing that, but if you are wanting someone to stay married to you, why would you talk to them like that, better yet I wouldnt even say that to my worst enemy. No one deserves to be judged for their grieving process.
