Just to show my ignorance I though the bypass and banding were the same procedure
But what to go for ??
I have read up on it and understand the band can be adjusted whereas the bypass would not need to be
what a horrible choice but if you are overweight and have blood glucose levels in the high 100rds and it can cure the diabetes it may be the right choice
Gastric banding costs between £5,000 and £7,000, while bypasses cost between £8,000 and £14,000.

Here, if you are approved for either procedure, it is covered by insurance,
so if you are loaded you can just go to Harly street and pay and be in and out the only reason to have insurance in the UK is to jump the waiting list
same with dental work when I was out of work I have about $8,000 of dental work done. for free
But they stopped all that now. Only a certain amount of work is done and it needs to be vital stuff no cosmetics
Too many people in low paid casual jobs leaving work to qualify for free dental work
All you hear about in the UK now is cut this cut that close this and that no money left for public services
Still those Bankers manage to pay themselves record Bonuses and the F*cin policticains are frightened to do anything about it
How about a Bonus tax for any unreasonable amoung say over $80,000 gets a 98% rate
Its all taxpayers money they are gambling with anyhow
