A support group for individuals with Type2 diabetes. Encouragement, empathy, advice, and personal experiences from members dealing with the illness. A friendly environment with compassion and support as our main objective.
what do you do for Exercise?
I think it is more important for diabetics now even people without high blood glucose although sometimes it can lower reading a bit too much it over down my last time 1 hrs of fairly heavy exercise left my B/G at 3.9 thats about 70 USA.
I have a gym at home and a local swimming pool I cycle and walk. I think for me its better than all the pills and potions
Our local Council runs a tutorial for chair bound people on how to exercise while seated its quite impressing the amount and type of exercises that have been developed for people with limited movement
but you need to go to classes to get a routine going.
The major incentive for myself is the improved mood after exercise
