I wouldn't want to get a truncheon sandwich from one of NY 's finest boys in blue
What happened to the Guardian Angels who used to beat up all the muggers down there?
I'll have to get the low down from Arline maybe I could hire out a big dog for protection
(1) the bugs are not all over - the only ones I've seen are the ones they've shown on TV. Actually, I think they've been found in the wealthier areas of Manhattan.
(2) the NY subway system is not dangerous but it depends on what neighborhoods the subway goes through. There are many subway lines and some are filled with the huppies of NY. I took the subway to work (that went through bad neighborhoods) every day for 55 years and I'm still here. Just don't travel on them in the middle of the night when the trains are empty,
Lost - the Guardian Angels are still around but I haven't seen them in years. I understand they were hoodlums at one time and turned it around.
BTY, Lost, have you ever been to NY ? It sounds as if you have.
And do you remember Freddy Laker his sky train was so cheap to fly over it was worth going just for the cheap shopping a lot of stuff then was about half the price
last time was about 5 years ago had a great time Don't know if I could stand being a commuter there though
it;s madness
I have some relations in Connecticut a lot less hectic there
Is it still open They used to have that big dipper ride there it looked pretty hair raising
All city dwellers seem to like to visit the sea side from time to time and in NY you don't need to go far
I live by the sea so I certainly dont have to go far. Just through the parking lot and across the street.
