Dumb test!!!!!! OR the entire report isn't there...
Soda never did anything for sweets for me. If I eat sweets I want more like a cookie or something. Not normal cravings I want the entire box if I had it.
That is why most time I love dried prunes..love them!! So when I have a sweet craving I eat two of them and then I am fine most times. I love dried apricots also but they do it for me.
We are now drinking mainly Solo (diet) which is a lemon juice based soft drink which is not very sweet and is quite refreshing. I also drink water and coffee - finally without sweetener - but almost every time I go past the tap I will grab some water ( no chemicals) - but I still like my coffee of sodas.
I took Chromium for a couple of years and that seems to have cut my cravings back on sweets a lot as I was a "one cookie or candy is not enough" person too. I have not needed it for a while but if I find I slip back into that habit I will get straight back on to it as it really does help me a lot.
The strange thing is when I have had a soda or two - especially the lemon one I feel more like some nuts or protein - guess it is not too sweet to excite that response in me - at least not yet.
