I was going to post a Happy Mother's day msg to you yesterday... But seriously I was at a loss for words. So I sat back and tried to remember some of my phone conversations that took place with you on this very day. I can still hear your cough we all came to know so well. I miss you so much. I miss our phone calls. Although I do know you are in a better place now....I still long to have you back. I am so sure you are in awe with whats been taking place since you left us. Heres hoping everything works out. I see your group here is going strong. Lots of new members. This would make you smile and shine so bright.. This I know for sure. So thanks from the bottom of my heart for keeping Jo alive.. This was her passion this web forum and she made amazing friends that she still watches over to this very day.. Thanks so much for posting this Cherie. there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of Goldi. I'm thrilled for her with each new member and with the core bunch of veterans too. I too miss talking with her. I have so much going on now and would give anything to hear her advice. This group had a special place in her heart and she will always have a special place in ours. You do too. We love you lots!

Yes she would be thrilled.. and I feel a sense of personal satisfaction when I see a new member as I know its making her so happy.. and happy her friends are helping out the new ones with their challenges in fighting and controlling this disease.. Hi Cherie, I often think about how much Goldilox encouraged me many times and I know I will never measure up to the standard she left me and yet I still get tears in my eyes missing her although I find it's so much easier to do the right thing when you have a good example and she was a great example to me by the LOVE she shared with us and it seems she rarely thought of herself, since she was encouraged knowing she was making a difference to all of us. Cherie, I don't have much time on the internet, but it was important for me to response, since I miss her and I would love to see much more action. I am doing what I can do get my health better and I want to encourage others with there health, since that's important to me also. Many are likely at a loss for words at how to share here and talking about there gratitude so they don't talk.

Your post was so much on the mark for how myself, and I'm sure others, feel. Goldi was our inspiration for a long period and she seems to still be here in our thoughts to keep us on the right path to good health. I just was on the other diabetes support site and it was really boring with no new topics to read. I'm glad to be able to get this support group to help me. Lesa, you also are a great inspiration as well as vernonbro. I miss this site so much. Glad to be back, Mary AnneF

I hope these comments are encouraging others to continue to post about how we are doing since dealing with how we feel helps our body deal with all of the other health problems. I am glad Cheri took the time to post about this since I know she has blessed me with her sharing her thoughts and feelings here, Goldilox would be proud of her sharing and taking it to all of us since she likely knew it helped all of us.
