An NHS weight-loss strategy which pays patients to diet is being undermined by hospitals renting out space to fast food outlets including Burger King and Starbucks.

Overweight people could be paid up to £1,800 to lose weight under the plans, which are currently being piloted at the Eastern and Coastal Kent Primary Care Trust.

Around 400 patients and nurses are taking part in the scheme, which sees payments range from £200 for losing two stone in five months to almost £1,800 for dropping ten

How many pounds is an american dollar? How many pounds is a stone? I havent looked it up yet. I sure would sign up too.. why not? You probably have a lot of support and you would have medical care too. On top of that, you get paid for it.. how much better could it be? I wish I were there and I would joing you !

Does this mean Chuck Conners was better than Chuck Steak? lolol I am paying to lose weight since I am planning to put the money order to try out the Vitamin to limit my desire of foods, but most of them are Vitamins which helped me to lose weight and I believe they will work as well as in the past, but I need to clean my apartment, but I am sure many think this is the same ole same ole. We will see, but you all hope this is not just warm fuzzies and the Vitamin does really help me to lose weight with extra to walk and bike.

Please let me know what vitamins you are using and for what. Which ones are you using to lose weight and for blood pressure etc

Yes Vernon the only problem with your posts is that you always mention what you are going to do but you never say what it is. Like it is a secret or something. Then you apologise when you don't need to!!!

The other reason to say what it is , is maybe someone here has tried it or knows about it and mention something....good or bad.

I think the plan sounds good. Good money too for a good cause. Go for it! It always bothered me that the hospitals put in Mc Donalds. What a joke that is, a mockery. Here on your way in grab some greasey fries and cheeseburger and maybe we can get you in our er with heart attack!!! That what it says to me!

Yes, Vernon.. I keep asking you what "vitamins" you are taking for your high blood pressure and your blood sugar. I sure would like to know, as would others, since it might help them too.
