A support group for individuals with Type2 diabetes. Encouragement, empathy, advice, and personal experiences from members dealing with the illness. A friendly environment with compassion and support as our main objective.
Does diabetics turn you in to a hypochondriac. Yes I would say you need to be to take in all the information and new diet restrictions.
More so with diabetes as if effects so many different organs. Like most people I took health for granted when younger. didn't really think about necking 7 pints of beer and a few more in the Curry House,
now I'm reading labels taking my blood pressure testing for sugar taking glucose readings
reading all the medical books
Jesus I even get an copy of the Lancet sent to my e-mail
Maybe I should start calling myself Doctor Lost
On second thoughts the name don;t sound too inspiring !

Sound like a perfect description of me.
I was allways one of those it could never happen to me people.
I do think Doc would be a better Title :-}
All I need is my lady friend to have a headache when she gets in.
