The ranges below are for non diabetic's but the lowest level I have ever had a reading of was after about 1 hr of vigorous exercising and not eating for over 4 hours before testing and then it was 4.6 or about 83 I'm doing the diet thing maybe I should up the exercise levles

For the majority of healthy individuals, normal blood sugar levels are as follows:
The normal blood glucose level in humans is about 4 mM (4 mmol/L or 72
mg/dL)
The body, when operating normally, restores the blood sugar level to a range of about 4.4 to 6.1 mmol/L (82 to 110 mg/dL).
Shortly after eating the blood glucose level may rise temporarily up to
7.8 mmol/L (140 mg/dL) or a bit more in non-diabetics.
The American Diabetes Association advises a post-meal glucose level less than 10 mmol/L (180 mg/dl) and a pre-meal plasma glucose of 5 to 7.2 mmol/L (90-130 mg/dL).

We know what sky high is and dangerously low as for blood pressure after 60 nearly everyone seems to be on the high side.
Its easy to become obsessed with testing. I meet people who take metformin who never test don't even have a meter
But rely on hbAC1 One guy said he eat Baked potato's with cheese and told me it was recommended for diabetics But as he didn't test i did not bother To argue
The fact is lots of people don't know what the hbac1 Test is or their numbers they go to the doctor after the blood test and he says you are OK
or take these other pills
Not a good policy in my book but with all the pressure of work etc I can understand it
