Oy vey - if you ordered a pork chop you wouldnt be a dumb schmuck. You wouldnt get it at all - a kosher restaurant doesnt serve pork.

Unicorn, Thank-you for sharing since I don't know much about Jewish although I had the impression Jewish people started the Delicatessen, which is called a Deli, although from the internet it's not true. I am not sure if Hello Deli is Jewish although I do know it's the most famous Deli I am familiar with. I assume that you can buy Turkey Bacon at a Kosher restaurant, let me know about this.

never saw any kind of bacon in a Jewish deli. In a Jewish Deli the following is on the menu,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

potato salad
French fries
cole slaw
pickles & sour tomatoes

corned beef, tongue, roast beef, chopped liver and pastrami sandwiches on rye bread. All sandwiches are about 3 inches high and you usually take 1/2 home.

Yea but a real Sandwhich. A half inch toasted cheese and ham sandwich with a small coffee will cost about $15 in London

I LOVE Potato salad, but the problem is people TEND to eat it mostly when it's hot and maybe can turn into Salmon, as in Salmonelle which makes NO or Butkis, think NFL, sense to me, why can't people eat it when it's safe to eat OUTSIDE. I will get more New York Jewish Rye bread when I have more Chromium. I LOVE to eat Potato Wedges with reduced sugar catsup and when the Wedges are cold in the fridge, I will NUKE them! I am talking yummo and although bad for me, Quality fried chicken with potato wedges are BOSS!

The secret to saving money on these hefty sandwiches is to go the take out deli portion of the restaurant and order 2 slices of rye bread and 1/4 lb pastrami or whatever and make your own sandwich and eat it on the street or in the car, Then it would only cost about $5

A sour tomato is a green tomato that's pickled in brine just like a pickle and its to die for, They also sell cauliflower and peppers that have been pickled in brine,

If you dont know what brine is its vinegar, loads of spices and garlic and the food sits in it for weeks and then its a pickle or whatever,

I thought Brine is a fancy way of saying Salt Water.
