I bought some strips and lancelts a while ago from ebay. Yes, I got them really cheap, but after the exchange rate and the shipping, they werent really a big savings for me after all. Also, one I sent money for, said they never received it and never sent my strips.

I am lucky now that I dont have to pay for them, but yes, if you are in the states, you may find them cheaper there.

All my stuff is on perscription, so I get 80% back on my medical insurance. Ebay wouldn't be a good option for me.

Our system here gives you 100 strips for $1 if you are on benefits.
So ebay is not an option for them but I have used it for other things and got some good bargains too.

I have heard that there is now a method of testing without using these strips the new machines use a pemamament sensor to run over blood sample.

They are not available, but I should think that with the profits on the strips there cannot be much incentive for development.

Goldi if you use ebay quite alot its best to pay with pay pal and if goods do not arrive you get refunded.
the Canadian and USA sites have some great leather and warm winter Coats
but posting usually costs more than the goods.

Lost, I have used paypal, but it comes out of your bank account and it takes about a month for it all to go through, so it takes so long, I just said forget it. I know it is a good thing, so I will probably go back there the next time, or at least make suire to keep better records, so i could get my money refunded if i need to.

I would love that new testing method. You would get rid of the strips, but I dont think that will be happening anytime soon. I think it is a motherload for the pharmacutical companies too.
