I'm sure she mentioned a liking for a Dog with some French Mustard aboard.
Unless I'm thinking of someone Else.
We don't do dogs in London its kebabs over here with are probably worse, and the Fish & Chips deep fried cannot be very great fare for the heart. all those trans fats
Lost - I certainly did inhabit all the hot dog carts when I was working, There are no burger carts, The hot dogs are the very best and I loaded them with onions, saurkraut and mustard. If that caused diabetes, so be it. But I seriously doubt it. If that were the case, everyone living in Manhattan would have diabetes. Actually, the best carts are in Austria.
So I bet those Austrian Carts do nice Sauerkraut, I saw one of those on the TV the guy was wearing shorts held up with braces and had a funny hat on He was yoddleing away and I was wondering what he had in the cart I though maybe ice cream
But maybe it was a Dog Cart!
I still think we need to start that restaurant. We could have made a fortune! LOL!
Restaurant still sounds like a great idea Lesa unless Arline has started it without us,she was getting impatient ;-)))
I hope Arline in not on the Streets with Irene on its Way
time to get some food and provisions in and hunker down
Wonder how New York would be effected with all those tall building maybe lessen any impact
I thought Coney Island shut down and here you are taking Arline in the Tunnel of love eating dogs
Just don't go on the big dipper aferwards!
Coney Island is closed but they would never close Nathans. Dont you remember they have those hot dog eating contests there every summer ? Chesty, I'll meet you there just as soon as I dry out.
Got Arline in my prayers this morning. New York had tornado warnings out too.
Hope the wind will die down and pass by soon I guess a least the flooding is not such a problem on the higher levels
have seen monsoons in the far east and know how flood waters just contaminate and ruin everything
Just make sure you keep somewhere safe
I like the Hot dogs without Nitrates when they are on sale, which is not often, since they have less salt and that's what's very important to me, I have heard Nitrates will kill people, but the excess salt is the killer, but of course many would say I am all wet which is not all bad with our heat we have had some time.
"I am not religious nor do I pray but I may have to change that. My area was the only one in NY that was not flooded When it started I thought I would lose everything - it started flooding and the wind was howling at 90 mph. I had everything moved away from the windows and taped them. I didnt look outside again till Sunday at noon because I was afraid to. Lo and behold, the parking lot was dry and my car was safe. The wind acted like a blow dryer. Even though I'm only a block from the ocean, it appears those living near rivers and streams had it much worse. I just heard Vermont and Canada got it the worst. Understand Canada had buildings cut in half. We had mandatory evacuation but I had no place to go so stayed. I'm on the 7th floor and had one neighbor who stayed behind so we checked in on each other. Had only 2 hours of sleep in 3 days. I'm brain dead."
Just thought I'd share the whispers I keep hearing. Very glad our pal came through Irene in such good shape.
Am so glad that you were safe and are fine....God does work wonders for us..........
