Hello, My Friends !

Have any of your children referred to you, as being a whore for dating others?
I've been a widow for over 11/2 years now, and my oldest daughter and now my youngest see me as this for
dating ! I was really hurt in my last marriage, so I just want to take my time before jumping into a new relation-
ship ! I call it testing the waters, before committing to just anyone !

My oldest daughter was real close to her Father when he died, and now she and the youngest girl have
completely pulled away from me ! I love these girls with all of my heart and it's destroying me inside to feel
that they no longer love me ! I just want them to understand that although their Father is gone now, that their
Mother still needs someone in her life as well ! I am truly " Broken Hearted ! "

awww, so sorry to hear....Bet that must be a real painful situation to be in. But you are still a person, and still have emotional needs like the rest of us. AS much as we put our kids first, there is a point when we need to take care of ourselves first and move on in our lives. Try explaining this if you haven't already. If they can't understand this, then maybe its for the best. Give them some time and space to deal with it. Never forget you are your own person. a mother, a former wife...but now you want more. Thats ok....

You know, I've always put others first in life! Now that after my ex husband's death, I've come to realize
that between my girls and I'm having to face life alone! Not having a companion leaves me feeling
really alone and sad. I'm just wanting to put this hurt to my past and seek happiness again!

Thanks so much for helping me see that there's still life out there!
