Not sure if this is what is being looked for, but here is my thought...
"You don't have to look to find the gifts of life...you just have to "see" them".
It's been so hard to see the gifts, any gifts, since my beautiful daughter left this world. I'm thankful today that I am finally in a space to truly see the many gifts that not only Kala brought and continues to bring into my life, but also the many gifts of nature, family, friends, DS, ForMomsOnly, and life itself give me each day.
I am truly thankful, for I have much to be thankful for.

I have been to many countries, including some in the 3rd world. It is amazing how much joy people have, even with little material wealth and a short life expectancy and tragedy all around--- wars, crime, death... And then there are those Americans who are never satisfied, no matter how much they overfeed that beast called "more."
Yes, we don't have to "find the gifts of life", we truly "just have to 'see' them!"
