I have been diagnosed with CVID for 10 years and for as long as I can remember I’ve always had increased (more than normal) vaginal discharge. I’ve been tested for everything and always come back negative for everything. My obgyn can not explain it to me and tells me it’s just normal for me. I know that our mucus membranes are more hyperactive but I just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem? Sometimes it can be really embarrassing. It has no unusual odor is just a nuisance, my partner sometimes questions me about it and it just really puts me down.

Hello. I have a daughter with CVID and she has the same issue. She's so frustrated. Her doctor did some tests and no yeast infection or stds (she's not sexually active). Have you had any relief?

No mam, no relief. Doctors have ran every test there is and everything is negative. Just say mucus membranes are more active with CVID

Hello. My daughter just saw another doctor. She said she will need to take an antifunal on a monthly basis. It's a prescription, Fluconazole, 3 pills taken every other day. The doctor said women with compromised immune systems can safely take them every month. I'm not sure if she'll need to take 3 pills a month or just 1 or 2. Anyway, after one pill she already has much relief. The doctor said 1 in 4 women have this problem, even without immunity issues. Good luck, hope this helps.

Thank you, I will definitely talk with my doctor about that.
