I just wanted to share my experience with those who have been recently diagnosed with Costo. After suffering extreme chest pain my doctor diagnosed me with Costo. It was a horrible week, I was in so much pain everytime I swallowed or took a bite to eat I was in agony. I was bawling my eyes out one night because I was so so hungry but couldn't swallow, not even liquids. I eventually recovered about a week later and went on with my life.

About a month ago I had that same tell-tale chest pain and went to see a new doctor (as I had relocated). She listened to my symptoms, felt my chest, and diagnosed me with Acid Reflux. I wasn't 100% sure of her diagnosis, I trusted my other doctor, but took the medication she prescribed. AND IT WORKED! My previous doctor had misdiagnosed me and as a result I suffered terrible pain that I didn't need to.

So as a result I'd just like to throw out a heads-up to those who join or read this group for info. Make SURE it's costo, it may be something quite simple :)
