Parents of children with ODD
my daughter scored high for adhd/odd today during her evaluation today. she just turned 5 this month. she is violent and yells constantly and wont listen to me. and she also has sensory issues and anxiety. what can i do to get her under control or different disiplines that wont set her off.

Sorry that you are going through these problems. My son was diagnosed at 6 with ODD and ADD and Anxiety. We put our son on medication for the ADD and anxiety. There are no pills for ODD but treating the other disorders sometimes really helps with the ODD. We also did a therapist, which helped a bit. Our school system really helped with a para educator assigned to my son all day at school. We also did a sticker chart at home for positive reinforcement. I hope this was helpful , hang in there...
