Do you believe there is meaningful life on other planets & if so, how does that effect your thinking in the concept of heaven? Or perhaps reincarnation?
Yes, I do believe there are other intelligent life forms out there. It really has no effect on my beliefs. God said right off the bat that I should no put any other gods before Him - that sure says to me that there are other gods. No reason one of those "other gods" cannot be "God" for another life form created on another planet.
Mayhaps God moved some of us to another planet or three. Doesn't change much - just means more humans.
The moment you believe there isn't or can't be anyone but humanity, you have just limited your concept of God and decreed Him less than all encompassing and omnipotent.
God has indicated we (humans) are His greatest creation, because we were created in the Image of Him.
I never really give to much thought to if there is life on other planets, because since God created all things, He could very well create other life forms. My concept of heaven is not changed, and I have no opinion of reincarnation since that would be a soul going from one person to another, I do not feel like God is so limited he has to recycle souls. However there has been some remarkable stories about this and I think it is another situation all together.
Yes, I believe that other life is out there in the universe somewhere. It would be very arrogant of humans to think we are the only ones.We are only just beginning to explore what's out there.
I don't believe in a God or in heaven. I hope who ever is reading this, does not take offense to this. I accept other people's beliefs., but it's not for me. I do believe in energy. What that really means I'm really sure myself. To me it means that we are all connected in some type of way. What ever we do, effects others. I have lived my life knowing that I'm here for a purpose and I have tried to make a difference even if it's just a small ripple in a large ocean. We have a big mess here on this planet and I wish people would come to their senses and stop fighting over things that are not important. Issues like human rights, poverty etc are very important to me.
