It is good Nod.. but so very sad. That is one thing this has kinda cost me because while folks say they understand, my limitations are frustrating to them and they in some part have drifted off. Thankfully my kids and some family members are "getting it" in some measures and try really hard....

Lot in the article hit home. My sister for the first time recognized that I have COPD last month. Seeing our day typed out and how we are viewed and treated is a harsh reminder.

Thanks for that Nod, I have a couple of friends that say it's all in my head, and since I quit smoking it will go away. One told me to stop my meds, I don't need them anymore. I forgot my advair one day after I got out of the hospital, and couldn't breathe, I actually believed him until then.
Most people don't understand, from my experience, I am slowly losing the few friends I have left.

Interesting read, I copied it for my neighbor upstairs his wife at times thinks he is putting on a sick act. I have tried to explain the disease to her....but she has a deaf ear.

Most folks I run into know what I go through and I have to say when I am out in public everyone is very helpful and kind. Guess I am a lucky one.

People ask me why i don't volunteer in organisation,since I don't work.One of these days I will react in a special way.
