EISH ..... lol Just the kind of thing my mom would have said back in the day when such things weren't talked about, least of all with their children. I remember my grandmother pulling my ear almost off my head for saying the word "pregnant". Oh my, how times have changed.

Leonie, I was just thinking about that the other day - there were so many things we weren't supposed to talk about, it was ridiculous.

I often look back and think those were the best days. Nothing these days is sacred, nothing left to the imagination, nothng to look forward to, kids gowing up way before their time, intimacy is advertised like baked beans, parents too busy to be parents, grandparents too lost in tme to be heard, The world is moving so fast that I'd hit the pause button if I could, and jump off to let my head stop spinning, to find my bearings, to catch my breath and to choose my own pace .... to grow old gracefully.

Ooops, this wasn't meant to be a vent session .......... so I'll simply laugh at myself for being an old fuddy-duddy. ..........lol
