A spot for those who want to enjoy life, share time , stories, information and laughter without penalty or pettiness. Motto: We have a disease but we don't have to "be" a disease!
With this condition I can't do what I used to be able to do, but it opens up new possibilities for me.
1. I used to race motorcycles in the California desert. and the Baja peninsula, but now I can reek havoc with the electric carts at Walmart.
2. I used to run between two to six miles a day, but now I can walk slowly and take is the scenery, stop and talk to my neighbors, and really appreciate all that there is to see when I am not in a hurry.
3. I used to be able to work 50 to 60 hours a week, but now I have more time to spend with my family and friends.
4. I always get the best parking spots.
I guess what I am trying to say is that although this condition has changed my life, it hasn't affected the quality of my life. If anything it has improved it in ways I never could have imagined.

I used to feel rather vulnerable until I started carrying my portable oxygen in my purse. Now if anyone tries to attack me, I'll just hit them with my purse. Should put them out for quite awhile. Ha ha.
