Well the very idea..Venison is good, 4ounces= 170 calories, 2 grams of fat, zero Carbs, 33grams of protein..should be on everyones diet...LOL

Once married to a good ol' Arkansas boy and sat many a deer stand, cooked tons of venison.
. Even took the girls hunting when they were little.
When someone once told my daughter that we were killing Bambi, my daughter replied " naw, they just get Bambi's father and I never liked him anyway."
Not sure what trauma Bambi's dad caused my girls but they sure did figure a way to rationalize their love of venison.....
Road kill though... still can't manage that despite Grannies recipes
