Hi, My name is Elsie. Some of you know me. Some of you don't. I am the other half of DennyGene.

Our 11 year old Grandaughter, Lynda Grace, is in the hospital. They think it is Bactrial Menengitis. She lives in Stockton and they are taking her by Ambulance to Oakland to a Pediatric Hospital. I don't have too much more information at the moment. I cannot make it up there as Dennyis not feeling too well right now. So if you can spare a minute or more, please, pray for my little spit 'n image. And maybe slide one in there for Denny too.

Prayers are being sent for Lynda Grace in her time of need to the Creator of all who knows the best condition for us each as individuals at this time.Prayers go to the Throne also for Denny Gene as he struggles with his specific problem area in his daily walk. May these two people be healed in accordance with the will and concern of the Almighty as He touches them both in loving grace.

Elsisue, I'm so sorry for this-- I hate seeing young children so sick!! My prayers are with both of your loved ones-- Dennis is so helpful any time you ask for info or advice. May both feel better soon!!!

Our prayers are with you both and Lynda Grace. A sick grandchild is the scariest thing for us Grandparents. Especially when we can not be there. Give yourselves both a hug and know that you are doing what you can.

Elsie, prayers going out for Lynda Grace...how frightening and worrisome it is when a child is so sick. But they're so resilient, hopefully she'll be showing improvement by the time you see this.

Thank You, everyone. There is no new news. Our little one is in isolated ICU. Last I heard she was sleeping. The hospital has "housing" available for my son, DIL and their daughter, my Suzie Q.
Lynda Grace and Suzie are Cassie's little sisters.
I will try to keep you all updated..Dennis is doing his exercises this morning. Hope that means he is feeling some what better.

You all are the bestest. And I really don't think thank you is a big enough word....But it is the only one I have so THANK YOU!

Lynda Grace is being moved out of ICU this evening. And she is hungry!!! But still in quite a bit of pain and her fever is still fluctuating. So not going home but no ICU.. She is having chicken noodle soup and GREEEN Jello and a bottled water for supper, Her choices. Maybe I should have a talk to her about those food choices. But I really doubt she was offered steak and baked potaotes....LOL.

Ahhh... the infamous hospital green jello... glad to hear someone enjoys it ..lol!
Hungry kids are healing kids so very very glad to hear she's making menu selections.
Wishes for a speedy recovery .. those grandbabies can sure scare us!
