I did not know Marge and Floyd, but what a wonderful tribute. I thank grannie....but I also thank gracenme for her daily tributes with awesome music and celebrated holidays and things. Also I thank those that contribute funnies and banters :)

I have looked back into the old posts, i know of those that passed but did not know them. this is a great board and it needs more people to post things, grannie gets at a loss of things to post sometimes and i thank her for keeping this up, without her no one would keep it going.

I do not have COPD (yet...I am a former smoker and so the groundwork is laid and I am not exempt). However, my dad had it.
My hat is off to those that have it or had it.....not fun.
Grannie invited me here anyways despite my not suffering from it. I loves that woman and thanks for giving her a shoutout jan....she definitely deserves it :)

Some of the new members don’t know the history of the PB….LOL and some of us would like to forget why….LOL Let’s say…not everyone thinks laughter is the best medicine.

Now Mr. Puff (when he gets outta bed) is going to have a fit. MsBlank caught him misbehaving and I want to punish him for it. So bear in mind he may have a different opinion of this thread…LOL

Grace ask the other day do you have to have COPD to join this Group….Answer: NO. I don’t know if there are any requirements, I don’t think so cause Mr. Puff is still here. Just have a laugh, work a puzzle, give advice, take advice, be puny, happy, whiney….don’t matter.

The Penalty Box was at first set up for folks from the COPD Board, there was just a handful it didn’t seem to go anywhere a lot of folks with COPD just don’t care or have the energy to laugh an enjoy the company of a forum. It takes people of different Support Groups to make and keep the Penalty Box alive. So if anyone wants to have fun and gripe at the same time…..come join us…start a Thread…

Some of you don't know we have a member in Hospice Care, our Admin: Denny, wish you could join us, I know you enjoyed doing the puzzles but rest, take your Meds and be kind to Elsiesue. LOL

Thanks Jan for the Kudo's given to our amazing 'fearless leader'. She is something special all right. Like MsBlank(the other Deb) I do not have COPD but after 37 years of smoking, I too am not exempt. I just pray I never fall to it.

Grannie invited me to the PB and I try to visit and post daily. I laugh, cry and am able to connect with such wonderful people. MrPuff, your punishment for sleeping in.....I hid all the soup pots. No soup for YOU.

I still have Floyd's and Marge's names on my friends list. I couldn't delete them. I miss them too.

I am also missing Jona. I still have his picture. All gone too soon.

When Marge and Floyd passed, I did not post here often for a while, I was too heartbroken. But Grannie, just kept posting and never gave up no matter what. After a while I came around and came back and now I am a regular. I do have COPD and Emphysema as do most of us. Laughter does help and sometimes whining does too but we can do both here. Puffy and Lisa have also helped to keep this board alive, even when times were low.
Thanks for mentioning Denny, he was always here too and now is not doing so well, however, we all pray for him every day that he can get through the day with a couple of smiles and hugs from us all.
Yes I also still have Jona's photo on my friends list, I just can't delete him either.

It's hard to explain,describe, or duplicate the dynamics that existed in the original old group of people that are no longer with us. Some things are just a matter of chemistry. Marge lifted my spirits more than anything else had in a long time. I still have all the old avatars I made involving her and they still make me laugh. I still miss her and I'm sure we would have gotten together if we weren't so sick,.

I give grannie credit for keeping the momentum of the board going, and I thank her for that, but I wouldn't want it to feel like a job to her. Sometimes just taking care of daily needs is all the job we need or can handle.

I was saddened to hear of Denny's additional problems. This is a tough disease.
