I've found that sandwiches are the worst thing for me, because when I eat too much bread, it affect my breathing.
For me the heavier loaves, such as your whole grain sandwich breads, are the worst. If I buy artisanal bread, or seeded rye from the bakery, it's not so bad.

I spent the afternoon trimming the fat off of 4 sirloin tip roasts and 3 pork sirloin roasts. I gound them up and made
I ground them up and made 9 1/2 pounds of extra lean ground sirloin for the grill. Bagged in zip-lock sandwich bags with a half a pound in each bag. 9 bags each in 2 gallon zipper bags = 36 burgers % 180 calories each.
From the 3 sirloin pork roasts I made 8 1/4 pounds of extra lean Italian Sausage for my homemade pizzas. 20% of the sausage is ground sirloin tip.
After the meat was stored in the freezer and I cleaned up the kitchen and washed the dishes, I ate a big tossed salad of lettuce, celery, green pepper, carrots, tomato, Italian spices, some imitation cheese (soy product), and a fist full of "go-lean" cereal. No dressing. The spice and imitation cheese gives it flavor.
BTW, I eat a big salad every day so I use a whole head of lettuce, 3 big carrots, 3 stalks celery and a large green in a large stainless steel bowl and stuff a gallon zipper bag full of it and it lasts be about 4 - 5 days. Then all I have to do to make a salad is put it in a bowl, cut up a tomato and add the spice and cheese.
